Instructions on resetting terminals to Factory IP settings.

IDTSapphire / IDTWallmount terminals

To reset IP address settings back to default on those types of terminals please do the following:

  1. Disconnect the Power supply from the device
  2.  Short circuit between PINs 3, 4, 7 on the green connector on the back
  3. Re-power the unit while the pins are still shortened, then wait until the Green & Red LED will flash, and wait for the device to reboot itself
  4. Power off the unit and remove wiring from PINs 3, 4, 7
  5. Re-power the unit. IP address is now set to default settings

IDTJade / IDTAccess / Octopus (MiniMoac) / IDTNano USB Palm & IDTNano USB FP terminals

To reset IP address settings back to default on those types of terminals please do the following:

  1. Disconnect the Power supply from the device
  2. Short circuit between PINs 7, 8, 9 on the J12 connector
  3. Re-power the unit while the pins are still shortened, then wait until the Green & Red LED will flash, and wait for the device to reboot itself
  4. Power off the unit and remove wiring from PINs 7, 8, 9
  5. Re-power the unit. IP address is now set to default settings

IDTGate terminals

To reset IP address settings back to default on IDTGate terminals please do the following:

  1. Disconnect the Power supply from the device
  2. Short circuit between PINs 11, 12, 14 on the block connector
  3. Re-power the unit and wait until the Green & Red LED will flash, and wait for the device to reboot itself
  4. Power off the unit and remove wiring from PINs 11, 12, 14
  5. Re-power the unit. IP address is now set to default settings
